Who Is at the Door? : The Package Check out our WINTER SALE! Must Book by February 28!
Does your dog bark at the front door? Is your dog unable to relax when neighbors walk by your door? Is a knock on the door an emergency? Does your dog bark and lunge - or even growl at delivery people- or your friends and family when they enter your home? Does your dog appear to get used to guests only to run and hide or lunge and bark when you guest stands up?
I designed the Who Is at the Door package after decades of learning how to reduce reactivity and fearfulness and working with thousands of dogs who struggle with activity around the front door and visitors in their homes. This package is based on cutting edge science, is effective and humane and can help you relax too!
These behaviors are very common and can be managed and changed. You do not have to worry about your dog or guests enduring undo stress during visits. Not every dog is a pawty animal. But most dogs can learn to feel safe and relaxed when there are guests in the home (some dogs may benefit from seeing a Veterinary Behaviorist during this program). I will assess your dog's behavior and start your unique path to comfortable and quiet visits in your home, during our very first session.
I can help you address these stressful behaviors that are currently making you and your dog (and guests, and delivery people) anxious and uncomfortable. This package is designed to help your dog overcome their reactivity around the door, and fear of new people. You and your dog can live quietly and happily without fearing the front door.
We start with an initial consultation where we will assess your dog's behavior and determine the best ways to help integrate training and behavior modification into your life. We will work together on Zoom to begin management and treatment techniques to empower you to begin to change your dog's emotional response to visitors. We will track your dog's progress weekly to ensure that you and your dog will be happy and relaxed at home - even when the doorbell rings or there is a knock on the door. I may coach you via Zoom through practice visits with an assistant trainer - or I may practice visits in person.
Online behavior modification is extremely effective at reducing anxiety around the front door and guests in the home. I will help you set up successful practice visits and more during this 8 week program. We will meet on Zoom for an hour every other week, and collaborate via video and messages every day 5 days a week. We can ensure that you and your dog are working together to feel more comfortable with a customized meeting and greeting protocol and exercises to help you both feel more relaxed, even before the visitors arrive.
.I designed this program so that you and your dog could experience:
- Improved relaxation skills, and quiet behavior around the front door

This customized and comprehensive package will help your your dog become quieter and happier when delivery people, and guests are outside your door and in your home. Contact me to schedule an initial consultation and take the first step in helping you, your dog, and your guests, relax!
